Dr. Loury Talks Black Male Development Symposium on WVON 1690 AM

On Oct. 17, Dr. Doreen Loury, assistant professor of sociology and director of Pan-African Studies, appeared on “Philip Jackson—The BlackStar Project” on WVON 1690AM, a radio station servicing the Chicago area. Dr. Loury discussed the Black Male Development Symposium (BMDS), of which she is executive director and founder, with Jackson and fellow guest Patrick Oliver, a literary consultant, author, and co-founder of the BMDS.
