Eckenrode, PT Students Run Another Lap with Back on My Feet

By Christopher Sarachilli | November 5, 2015

Doctor of Physical Therapy students work with a runner from Back on My Feet at a 2014 clinic.

Dr. Brian Eckenrode ’97, ’99M, PT, DPT, OCS, and physical therapy students will again collaborate with runners from Back on My Feet, a national nonprofit that uses running to empower and support those experiencing homelessness, to provide pro bono running injury analysis to several runners from the organization.

At 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the Health Sciences Center, runners from Back on My Feet will undergo a comprehensive evaluation that includes gait analysis, strength and flexibility assessment, and individualized exercise programs.

The event, part of a series of collaborations with the nonprofit, is held in conjunction with the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the Department of Physical Therapy’s Running Injury Clinic.
