published December 8, 2015Dr. Robin Wilson, professor of art and architecture at Arcadia University’s London Center, published Image, Text, Architecture: The Utopics of the Architectural Media (Ashgate), a collection of case studies and readings that examine the role of journal editors in shaping architectural history, while highlighting the gaps that exist within this media representation. By analyzing the impact of utopian fantasies in architectural criticism and photography, he calls for “a more progressive engagement with the media as a platform for critical and speculative thinking about architecture.”
