Scott Rawlins, professor of Scientific Illustration, presented research and taught a program at the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI) at the University of California in Santa Cruz earlier this month.
Rawlins’ presentation examined the use of mixed mediums—both traditional and digital techniques—in Scientific Illustration. Additionally, he taught a workshop on the use graphite and pastel dust for illustration while traveling.
