By Caitlin Burns | November 28, 2016

On Thursday, Dec. 8, “The Art of the Syllabus,” an exhibition of community service art by Arcadia University students, will be presented at the Spruance Fine Arts Center from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Each semester, students in the University Seminar “The Artist in the Community” participate in community service events with local establishments to create works of art. The exhibition is a display of creations from each service project, such as surface paintings completed with participants at United Cerebral Palsy.

In addition to United Cerebral Palsy, students this semester visited Parkway Northwest High School, Our Lady of Confidence, and St. Raymond’s House.
