Sandra Clark ’14MBA was featured in the Jan. 8 Philadelphia Sunday Sun for her new role at WHYY as vice president for news and civic dialogue. Clark discussed her plans for WHYY and the hope that the broadcast network will be a place where ideas and information are exchanged, and not just the station that airs “Sesame Street.”
“It’s about sharing information, and widening our knowledge by sharing information,” said Clark. “That’s not something we do nearly enough. So the idea of bringing people together to problem solve is a good one to me.”
Clark is the executive director for the student blog Because Arcadia. Previous to joining WHYY, she was managing editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer.
