Women’s Soccer Stuns No. 10 Swarthmore

Veronica Garcia ’20 found the back of the net twice during Arcadia University’s women’s soccer match against No. 10 Swarthmore, clinching a 3-2 win in the 89th minute on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

In addition to Garcia’s pair of goals, Jess Kelly ’18 put three of her four shot attempts on goal and landed her ninth goal of the season. Kayla Haberbosch ’18 and Stephanie Maggio ’19 each handed an assist. Brianna Williams ’21 backstopped the win by making seven saves.

The Knights improved to 6-4 for the year.
