Musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra will return to Arcadia University for their annual free concert on Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
The 45-minute community concert is part of the Audience Appreciation Concerts, which takes the Orchestra’s world-class musicians to schools, public plazas, libraries, and SEPTA stations across the Philadelphia region for free “pop-up” performances. The event in Arcadia’s Murphy Hall’s Stiteler Auditorium will feature the Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians String Bass Quartet.
The purpose of the concert is to promote the Orchestra’s upcoming season. This is the third year that the Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians will play a pop-up community concert on campus. Tickets are not required.
