Arcadia’s Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program has received two distinctions among national rankings with the Applied Behavior Analysis Program Guide.
The program ranked 12th in the “Top 15 Best Applied Behavior Analysis Online Programs 2018.” It is one of four Pennsylvania programs to achieve this distinction, with Drexel University as the only other school in the Philadelphia area to make the list. The rankings noted how Arcadia’s diversified program, which allows students to focus on a variety of behavioral conditions and disorders, “gives students the knowledge to be able to apply solid behavior principles to a variety of clientele.”
Additionally, the program ranked 30th in the “40 Best Applied Behavior Analysis Graduate Certificate Online Programs 2018.” It is one of only five Pennsylvania programs listed, including Drexel and Saint Joseph’s universities in the Philadelphia area. The program’s six-course sequence, approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, was recognized for its small class sizes, board passing rates, and affordability.
Offered through the School of Education, the ABA program develops the professional expertise and consultative skills necessary to support youth and adults with autism, conduct and oppositional defiant disorders, and depression.
