Genevieve Betts, adjunct professor of English, was featured in Chestnut Hill Local on March 21 for her role as a mentor and inspiration to budding poets. The article noted that many of Betts’ students have gone on to publish their poetry, and one was even named Poet Laureate of Montgomery County.
In addition to guiding Arcadia students to success, Betts is an accomplished author. She published her first poetry compilation, An Unwalled City, in 2014.
