On Oct. 19, Dr. Marc Brasof, assistant professor of Education, and Vicky Lynch ’18M, Madeline Robinson ’18, and Heather Hingston ’18M presented a new framework for teaching controversial issues in politically divisive times to educators, board members, and student-teachers at the 65th annual Pennsylvania Council for the Social Studies Conference (PCSS).
PCSS promotes quality social studies education from kindergarten to higher education by analyzing and advocating social studies curriculum, examining certification requirements, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
