Additionally, Marissa Sharp ’19 won the PCA Outstanding Graduate Student Award, given to graduate counseling students with excellent potential and professionalism.

At the conference, Professor and Director of Counseling Dr. Eleonora Bartoli presented "What do the helpers do when they find the world to be a sad and scary place?" with two colleagues. The presentation provided a space for attendees to discuss recent shootings, to honor the and explore grief, and to talk about how helpers can sustain themselves in the face of such tragedies.
