Students in the Artist in the Community course

On Thursday, April 11, join students in “The Artist in the Community” university seminar for “The Art of the Syllabus,” an exhibition comprised of art projects that student worked on while volunteering at local organizations throughout the semester. See how art and community service intersect during the opening reception in the Thrall Gallery from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Each semester, “The Artist in the Community” class works with underserved communities to create art. This spring semester, “The Artist in the Community” students worked with individuals from St. Raymond’s House, Parkway Northwest High School for Peace and Justice, and Women Against Abuse: Ameya’s Place.
