Dr. Angela McNeil, director of the ACT 101/Gateway to Success program, was featured on Philadelphia’s FOX29 News on Nov. 23 about her participation in the 8K of the Philadelphia Marathon, which was held that weekend in Center City and the surrounding areas.
Dr. McNeil and other runners were asked how they planned to prepare for the forecasted rain, which included wearing rain ponchos and taping sneakers.
The Philadelphia Marathon drew approximately 30,000 runners over the course of the weekend for the various events, including a full marathon, a half-marathon, a children’s run, and of course, the 8K.
