BFA Acting major Jack Taylor ’21 is one of thousands who took to the streets across the United States between May 30 and 31 to protest the social injustices toward black Americans. His participation in an Edgewood, Md. protest was captured in the June 1 Baltimore Sun.
“‘It’s so easy to just go, ‘That’s sad,’ and keep scrolling’ when seeing a report online about a black person dying at the hands of police,” said Taylor to reporter David Anderson.
Taylor encouraged others to address racism in whatever form it presents, even if it’s with your own family.
