Alexandria Davenport ’20M, MPH and Alexis Lambert ’22MPH presented their capstone posters at the American College of Epidemiology’s (ACE) virtual Annual Meeting Sept. 21 to 23.
Both projects, Davenport’s “Religiosity and the Treatment of Mental Health among African Americans” and Lambert’s “Visual Health Information and Knowledge Among Deaf/Hard of Hearing,” were advised by Assistant Professor of Public Health Dr. Heather F. de Vries McClintock.
Dr. McClintock and her research partner Dr. Hillary Bogner, associate professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at University of Pennsylvania, also presented their research, “An Intervention Addressing Social Determinants and Oral Hypoglycemic Adherence,” which focused on medication adherence.
Dr. McClintock also recently had a paper published a paper, “Developing Leadership in Women’s Health Research,” with Leadership in Health Services in collaboration with other authors in June.
