In an economic period where unemployment skyrocketed, more than 90 percent of Arcadia University’s graduate and undergraduate Class of 2020 survey respondents have secured employment or continued their education with regional, national, and international organizations.

Approximately 81 percent of the undergraduate Class of 2020 responded to the Arcadia Graduation Survey, reporting that, of the 521 bachelor degree recipients last May, approximately 90.2 percent have secured opportunities within six to nine months after graduation. Of those reporting in the survey, 57.1 percent are working; 24.7 percent are continuing their education; 7.9 percent are working and continuing their education; 0.5 percent are volunteering/have embarked on service work; and 9.8 percent are still seeking employment.

Members of the graduate Class of 2020 also achieved a high percentage of opportunities. Of the 322 respondents (approximately 67 percent of the class), 92 percent secured post-graduate outcomes within six to nine months after graduation. Of those responses to the survey, 87 percent are working; four percent are working and continuing their education; one percent are continuing their education; and eight percent are seeking opportunities.

Both graduate and undergraduate Class of 2020 members have found gainful employment at international, national, and local companies and organizations, including UMD Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Epic Developmental Services, Amazon, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Merck, and more. Students continuing their education went on to ivy league and renowned universities, such as Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and University of Edinburgh, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
