MPH / MMS Students Publish on Pediatric Rheumatology, Receive National Scholarships

Three students in the College of Health Sciences at Arcadia University's Master of Public Health / Master of Medical Science dual degree program recently published and earned national scholarships, respectively. 

• Lauren Pianucci published as the first and corresponding author in Pediatric Rheumatology: “Disordered eating among adolescents with chronic pain: the experience of a pediatric rheumatology subspecialty pain clinic.” She completed the paper during her MPH internship with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in spring 2020. Lauren is in her second year of the MMS-PA program and third year of the dual degree program.
• Brittany Imel and Joslyn Solomon earned HRSA National Health Service Corps scholarships to support the remainder of their academic work at Arcadia. Imel and Solomon completed their MPH coursework during the 2020-2021 academic year. They are now in the MMS-PA portion of the dual degree program.
