From: Originally from West Chester, Pa., now in Charleston, S.C.,
On Campus: Emily is a member of the first Social Action and Justice Education (SAJE) Fellowship cohort at Arcadia.
A Place for Poets: Emily is a founding member of Tenderheart Collective, an online poetry house led entirely by BIPOC women poets. Tenderheart Collective is a place for poets and writers to connect with other writers, form meaningful relationships, and evolve as artists.
After Arcadia: Emily plans to work as Executive Assistant to Development and Stewardship at the Coastal Community Foundation of S.C., where she had an internship. She also plans to volunteer with local education-oriented organizations in Charleston and assist with the Independent Black Lives Matter Chapter of Charleston.
