Congresswoman Dean Will Host Changemakers Roundtable for Women’s History Month

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Congresswoman Madeleine Dean ’20H will host a roundtable at Arcadia University to highlight women making history and leading the way in our region.

The event will be held from 2-3:00 p.m. at the Grey Towers Castle Rose Room.

Some of the local leaders that will be attending include:

  • Congresswoman Madeleine Dean: Former four-term member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and U.S. Representative for the Fourth District of Pennsylvania
  • First Lady Lori Shapiro, American clinical social worker and First Lady of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Jamila Winder: Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners for Montgomery County
  • Dr. Ala Stanford: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Region 3 Director and the founder of Philadelphia’s Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium

This roundtable event will be open to the Arcadia community. Students, faculty and anyone else are welcome to attend to help celebrate and highlight women making history.
