Dance Marathon to Benefit Fight Against Childhood Cancer
Arcadia University will hold a five-hour no-sitting dance marathon, “Dance All Knight 2022,” at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1, in the University Commons. Proceeds will benefit The Four Diamonds and its fight to end childhood cancer. This year’s theme is “Outer Space.”
Hosted by Arcadia For the Kids, or ArcadiaFTK, the event will feature live DJ, catered food, crafts, sports competitions, and games. Participants also will hear from Four Diamonds families. Registration is available here.
ArcadiaFTK-hosted fundraisers benefit children fighting cancer at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Dance All Knight 2022 is the largest fundraiser of the year and is a way to celebrate and thank the Arcadia community for its fundraising support all year.
This year, no registration fee will be required; however, participants must register for DonorDrive and set a minimum fundraising goal of $20. The $20 raised by each participant will replace the old registration fee and is required for full participation in the event, including receiving a free T-shirt. Instructions for creating a DonorDrive account will be included in the registration packet. If you are unable to attend the dance but would still like to support fundraising efforts, you may donate directly here.
The Four Diamonds mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
