Bella Bumbera ’19 discusses her Preview trip to Turkey during Global Expo.

From Ireland to India, first-year and transfer students showcased their international experiences from Preview at Global Expo on April 8.

The 23rd annual Preview trips took 390 students and 32 faculty and staff members over spring break to Chile, China, England, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Oman, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, and Turkey. They explored food culture, fashion, mythology, literature, education, and politics in these locations, presenting their findings and experiences at Global Expo.

“This was one of the best experiences of my life,” Sarah Mazza ’19 said about her time in Ireland. “This was the first time I traveled without my family. I was scared, but the experience really exceeded my expectations.”

Preview is a two-credit course and weeklong international experience that provides first-year and transfer students with a taste of study abroad.
