Head men’s basketball coach Justin Scott has been promoted to assistant athletic director, announced Director of Athletics and Recreation Brian Granata on Jan. 8. Scott assumes this role in addition to his current duties leading the men’s basketball program.

As assistant athletic director, Scott will serve as sport administrator for Arcadia’s baseball and men’s and women’s cross country programs. He also will assist with NCAA compliance efforts and have additional duties throughout the department.

Scott joined the Knights in 2010 and was promoted to head coach for the 2012-2013 season. He has earned Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Coach of the Year and Sam Cozen Coach of the Year honors while guiding Arcadia to two Commonwealth Conference tournament appearances and the program’s first appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Regional Championship.

In addition to his work at Arcadia, Scott coached the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s team in the 2015 FIBA Caribbean Basketball Championship.
