Fall student-athletes at Arcadia University return to campus on Aug. 17; new student move-in is set for Aug. 24.

As the fall 2022 academic semester approaches, the University is eager to welcome our newest Knights and all returning students to campus.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, new students will move in, a central part of Welcome Week activities. Students and families will be greeted by faculty and staff assisting with move-in day, as well as fall student-athletes, who return to campus on Aug. 17.

Welcome Week also includes Opening Convocation on Aug. 25, which officially kicks off the academic year. President Ajay Nair and Provost Jeff Rutenbeck will be among the speakers addressing new students. A picnic and concert will take place on Haber Green immediately following Convocation.

Students should check their Arcadia emails for the full lineup of Welcome Week events. One community event is the volunteer service project on Saturday, Aug. 27. Students and staff will package 25,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger Philadelphia.

Note: Cheltenham Township is conducting road work along Church Road. The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 22, but in case Church Road is still impacted on move-in day, students and families should use the Easton Road entrance.
