Freshman forward Bradley McKim of the Arcadia University men’s soccer team was named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week after netting a school and MAC-record five goals in the Knights’ 7-3 win over King’s College (Pa.).

McKim notched the first goal of his collegiate career 4:19 into the match and didn’t stop there, scoring three times in the opening 14 minutes of play and four times in the first half alone. His five goals and 10 points in the game set new school records, besting Ben Swan’s four goals and eight points from an 8-1 win at Marywood Sept. 22, 2001.

McKim now shares the MAC men’s soccer record for goals in a game with two other players, and is tied for second in conference history for points in a single game, which stands at 11. Messiah’s Patrick Lenehan scored five goals against Juniata Oct. 24, 2006, while Lycoming’s Jeff Kocher netted five goals and assisted on another against Webb Institute Sept. 3, 2003.
