About Me

Calvin has been an academic librarian at Arcadia University since 2005 when he completed his professional training at Drexel University. He is liaison librarian to the undergraduate (Biology, Computer Science/Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics, Public Health) and graduate sciences (Forensic Science, Genetic Counseling, Health EducationPhysical Therapy, Physician Assistant Program, and Public Health).

Calvin brings experience from two different former professions in applied materials research and development and non-profit administration. In addition to his library master's degree, he earned a Master of Associated Medical Sciences degree from University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Chicago.

He adjunct teaches a university seminar (US 233) in intellectual property called Copy!-Right? Creativity and Copyright Law and a Global Field Studies course (GFS 314/414) called Asian America: A Study of Asian American Culture from Philadelphia to San Francisco (with Rob Buscher, Undergraduate and Graduate Studies).
