Carol Lyman, M.A., is the Associate Director of the graduate program in counseling. She earned her B.A. in Special Education from Bloomsburg University and her M.A. in Counseling/Student Personnel Services from The College of New Jersey. For over 12 years, Carol worked in Student Affairs at TCNJ, then Rutgers University and finally at the University of San Diego, where she was the Director of Student Activities. During her time in Student Affairs, she was the Regional Director for Region 15 (now Region 1) of the Association of College Unions International. Carol began working at Arcadia in 2000, first as the Clinical Coordinator of the counseling program, and is now the Associate Director. She is currently the program advisor for all students in the program, and facilitates students’ practicum and internship experiences. Carol was the recipient of the 2017 Pennsylvania Counseling Association Outstanding Administrator award. In her spare time, Carol loves going to concerts, watching her beloved Phillies, and playing with her dogs!
