I have a passion for Community Health and Nutrition. It is my belief that food is the back bone to having good mental, emotional and physical health. Prior to working in the Department of Public Health, I spent 6 years managing two community based programs. These programs provided community health educational workshops, testing, support groups and linkage-to-care services around HIV and Viral Hepatitis. Currently, I am an ambassador for Oldways and I teach A Taste of African Heritage program, a 6 week community nutrition cooking class, in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
