The Arcadia University community was invited to attend the opening reception for Visitor, a photographic project by Jeremy Kramer ’15 on view in the Judith Taylor Art Gallery of Landman Library from March 2 to 15. Visitor is comprised of 12 images taken from black and white 35mm film depicting cultural sites of Western Europe such as Versailles, the Tate Modern, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Kramer, an art history student with a minor in studio art, captured these photos while studying abroad in Paris during the fall 2013 semester. Through this series of photographs, Kramer aims to “portray the reality of a place that is defined by its visitors: a world that is somewhere in-between the past and the present.”
