About Me

Dr. Conway has experience in research as well as in prenatal genetic counseling. She received her BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her MS in Genetic Counseling from Arcadia University. As Associate Director of the Arcadia University genetic counseling program, she uses her varied experience to teach science courses such as Advanced Genetics and laboratory diagnostic techniques, and also supports the students as they develop their Master’s thesis projects. Dr. Conway’s own research interests focus on how the genetic counseling profession is adapting to new technology, both in the clinic and as a profession. Dr. Conway is actively involved in professional organizations such as the National Society of Genetic Counselors, the American Board of Genetic Counseling, and the Association of Genetic Counseling Program Directors. She is currently serving a two year term (2018-2019) as secretary and executive committee member on the Board of Directors of the Association of Genetic Counseling Program Directors (AGCPD), and she is also Academic Co-Director for the Online Review Course in Medical Genetics and Genetic Counseling.
