Born in the city of Bangalore (now Bengaluru) - the "silicon valley" of India, I have studied, worked and traveled all over India and also parts of south Asia before heading to US to pursue my Ph.D. Since completion of my Doctoral studies, I have been with Arcadia and was attracted to the school due to its mission on global education which strongly coincides with my teaching and living philosophy!
I teach most of the marketing courses at Arcadia at both Undergrad and Graduate levels. However, my favorites are Advertising and International Marketing. My research focuses on two broad areas - Product placements in movies and entertainment media; Impact and effectiveness of various pedagogical approaches on student learning.
