Immediately upon employment, employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA-CREF retirement plan offered through Arcadia University.
Employees who are scheduled to work at least 1,000 hours per year may now contribute a minimum of 1% of their base salary and the University will match their contribution dollar for dollar up to 6%. That is, if you wish to contribute 1% of your base salary, the University will make a matching contribution of 1%; if you wish to contribute 3%, the University will make a matching contribution of 3%, and so on, up to 6%. Those who contribute 6.5% or more of their base salary will receive an 8% contribution from the University. Eligible employees are 100% vested at their date of participation in the retirement program.
