CCEC Collection Helps Regional Veterans

Arcadia University’s Community & Civic Engagement Center hosted an end-of-the-year collection at Oak Summit on May 15, with volunteers going door-to-door to gather unwanted items such as furniture, clothes, and appliances. The items were donated to the Veterans VMC thrift store, an organization that aims to provide resources for local veterans.

The annual drive is part of an effort to create a tradition of service and environmental awareness at Arcadia. By donating items they no longer need, students can play a valuable role in promoting a culture of sustainability on campus.
