Dust + Dignity Podcast: Music from the Series, a studio album executive produced by Associate Professor of Education Dr. Bruce Campbell Jr., was released on Oct 11. The album is a collection of the music used in Dr. Campbell’s “Dust + Dignity Podcast,” which highlights individuals who promote social justice and embody leadership in the workplace.

Dr. Campbell collaborated with Dotmatic, an artist signed to his Record Breakin’ Music label, to curate the album.

“The ‘Dust + Dignity Podcast’ pieces together the connections between leadership, social justice, and music that individuals demonstrate within the work they do,” said Dr. Campbell. “Music is the connecting variable that will triangulate these conversations. Our hope is that after every episode, you are left inspired and motivated to impact others.”

The podcast and album are part of Dr. Campbell’s project, “Dust + Dignity Podcast and Workshops: Exploring Social Justice and Leadership Through Music,” which is funded through the Dr. Norman Johnston Faculty Fellowship in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The fellowship seeks to promote the values of Professor Emeritus Dr. Norman Johnston by enhancing the central role of faculty in the education process, the open exchange of ideas, and the engagement of the entire University community.

Dust + Dignity Podcast: Music from the Series is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and Bandcamp.
