Advising & Student Engagement

The Advising & Student Engagement team is here to guide students through the study abroad process, from admissions through pre-departure. Our team is based in the USA and works 9am to 5pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. During certain times of the year, we may run on an adjusted schedule.  

Our team are dedicated professionals who are committed to working with and educating students in preparation for their programs of study around the world. We engage with students early and often about their programs. We provide high quality and high level service across all areas of study abroad preparation, including (but not limited to) academics, housing, visas, and community engagement. 

Dedicated Advising Hours for Students

Our program advising team has dedicated hours devoted solely to working with students in the application process. They are:

• Monday and Wednesday: 10am-12pm & 2pm to 4pm (ET)
• Thursday: 2pm-4pm (ET)
• Friday: 10am-12pm (ET)

During these times, advisors may be scheduling individual calls or running open advising hours. 

Open advising hours are open blocks that allow students to drop in and wait “in line” for an opportunity to speak with their advisor 1:1. Each advisor runs their open advising hours on specific dates/times and shares access information with students via email. Students can always get the contact info for their specific advisor through their Arcadia Portal. 

Email is preferred if you cannot schedule a call with an advisor, but we understand if you need to reach out and speak to us by phone. If we are not able to immediately respond to your call, please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message with your program and term of study (or this information as it relates to a student you are calling about). We will return your call as soon as possible, but it may take up to 24-48 hours to respond, or longer if it is a weekend or holiday.
