Mission
Arcadia Exhibitions organizes programming for four distinct gallery spaces on the Glenside campus throughout the calendar year. The program’s goal is to provide a broad-based community constituency with a stimulating roster of individual and thematic exhibitions of contemporary art ranging in scope and stature from the regional to the international.
Gallery talks, panel discussions, public lectures, and receptions generate vital contexts for each exhibition while also serving as a forum to encourage dialogue among artists, educators, students, and the general public about contemporary art and its socio-cultural relevance.
All of this takes place within a liberal arts setting where the content of these shows and related events serve as an important resource in supporting Arcadia University’s mission and curricular goals.

Permanent Collection
Arcadia Exhibitions, in partnership with the Landman Library, oversees the University’s permanent art holdings.
Through hands-on experiences with this active collection of objects, representing an eclectic array of media and historical periods, students have the opportunity to develop professional knowledge in the fields of curation, archival preservation, and collections management in addition to art appreciation and critical analysis skills.
The Pati Hill Collection
Arcadia University is also the steward of The Pati Hill Collection, the most comprehensive archive of the artist’s work and related materials in the world.
