Overview
Arcadia University's Global Small Business Institute (GSBI) was established in September 2007 as a special outreach project of the Department of Business/Healthcare Administration and Economics. The GSBI offers assistance to clients starting a new business or expanding an existing one. Many of the services provided by the GSBI at Arcadia University are free to the public.
The GSBI can help clients start or expand any type of business—a retail business, a service business, a manufacturing firm or a professional practice. Student consultants as well as department faculty with many years of experience as small business consultants in the Philadelphia area are available to assist with all types of business needs. The GSBI can also help businesses with importing and exporting products and establishing an international presence for their product or service.
