
Earn PA Teacher Certification in PreK-4 Education
This certification program provides you with theoretical and conceptual understanding as well as skill-based experiences in evidence-based practices that help you become accomplished teachers in PreK-4 educational settings.
The master’s degree is not required for certification. Certification requirements need to be determined with their academic advisor as the requirements may vary based on academic background.

Required Course
This course will equip students with practical and theoretical knowledge about teaching literacy to early and emergent readers and writers. The course will review historical and contemporary frameworks, theories and models for teaching literacy, authentic literacy assessment practices and strategic reading and writing instruction.
