Austin Eppenstein ’17, elementary education major, was featured in an April series by The Reading Eagle about lead contamination in Muhlenberg Township. Eppenstein’s plea on The Reading Eagle Facebook page for assistance for his mother, who suffers from lead poisoning, was the start of an investigation by the media organization.
