Misher ’88 Displays Art at Crafting Narrative Exhibition at City Hall

By Caitlin Burns | December 1, 2019

Karen Misher ’88, assistant professor of Visual and Performing Arts, has three works in the Crafting Narrative exhibition at Philadelphia’s Art Gallery in City Hall. Misher’s work surveys the boundaries between jewelry and sculpture, incorporating poetry and a variety of materials.

The exhibition is organized by Art In City Hall, an initiative of the City’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative, and runs until Dec. 31. Through traditional and contemporary materials, the exhibition explores narrative art through each work of art.
