What graduate program are you in at Arcadia? International Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Undergrad/previous degree details? UNC Charlotte – BA in International Studies.

Why did you choose Arcadia and/or your particular grad program? The field study components and community that Warren and Allyson mentioned during my interview influenced my choice of the IPCR program. I also felt that the program would give me great insight and a leg up in the field I want to enter after grad school.

What have you gained during your time here? I have gained so much in my short time here that I could not even list them all. I have learned about and been to parts of the world I had never even heard of or knew much about (i.e. Cyprus and the Republic of Georgia). I even earned a Certification in Mediation and got a better grasp of what I want to do and the opportunities out there in my field of interest.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date? Currently, I am a GA and I TA for two classes. Recently, I got an internship at the Nationalities Service Center.

What do you do when you’re not in class? Outside of school and work, I love to walk my dog, crochet, play games, and spend time with my friends. I had never really explored Pennsylvania before I took the leap to go to Arcadia. While it is quite different from when I attended a large public university, it is amazing the community I have built in the short time I have been here.
