Traditional housing is the most common choice for first-year and new transfer students, providing the perfect introduction to life at Arcadia.

Room Features
Traditional residence halls offer flexible living arrangements designed for comfort and community. Most students live with one or two roommates, depending on the preferences listed in their housing application and the completion date of the application.
Each hall includes single-gender, coed, or gender-neutral floors, allowing students to choose a setup that matches their preferences. Coed floors feature single-gender common bathrooms, while gender-neutral floors include shared, gender-neutral bathrooms. Students are placed in these areas only upon request.
Rooms in Kistler, Dilworth, and Heinz Halls measure approximately 11 feet by 14 feet, offering a comfortable amount of space for daily living and personal touches. While layouts vary slightly between halls, each room is designed to provide all the essentials for campus life—balancing function, comfort, and the opportunity to make the space your own.

Thomas Hall
Thomas Hall is a traditional hall for first-year students and transfers. Thomas Hall is a smaller, gender-neutral community composed entirely of double and single rooms; all students share the same common bathroom.
