- Her scholarship centers on Physician Assistant education, educational equity, and professional identity formation, with doctoral research examining how pre-matriculation healthcare experiences influence interpersonal and professional development among PA students. She maintains active clinical expertise in women’s health and is committed to preparing compassionate, practice-ready clinicians. Her research goals are to identify and evaluate experiential pathways that expand equitable access to healthcare education for diverse student populations.

Kimberly Erikson, EdD, PA-C, is Associate Professor and Associate Program Director–Clinical in the Physician Assistant Program at Arcadia University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and both her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University.
Prior to entering academia, Dr. Erikson practiced for more than 14 years in women’s health, primarily at Abington Hospital. Since joining higher education in 2016, she has taught across multiple areas of Physician Assistant education and has delivered invited instruction in women’s health and clinical education at institutions including Arcadia, Thomas Jefferson University, and Delaware Valley University.
