Arcadia Students Perform Community Service in Dominica

By Purnell T. Cropper | January 21, 2011

During a nine-day trip to Dominica, Arcadia University students taking a class on the Caribbean island’s history, culture and development with Tom Brinker, Professor of Accounting, and Dr. Wayne Morra, Associate Professor of Economics, gave back to the community by cleaning up the isthmus at Scotts Head in Saint Mark Parish. The group filled more than a dozen 30-gallon bags with trash picked up at the site. In the video Brinker and Lolita Raffoul of the Discover Dominica Authority speak about the joint effort to maintain Dominica’s natural beauty.
