Arcadia University Art Students to Show Work at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts is thrilled to collaborate with the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, one of the finest established cultural institutions of our country. On March 29, the flourishing talent of six Arcadia art students will be celebrated with a showcase of their artwork at the Philadelphia Orchestra’s fourth annual College Night Art Exhibit. The College Night Art Exhibit is a post-concert event held in the Kimmel Center, following The Philadelphia Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s “Linz.”

In representing Arcadia at this prestigious event, students from the Department of Visual and Performing Arts will experience one of the finest musical ensembles in the world and attend a special reception with orchestra musicians, orchestra attendees, and student artists from other colleges and universities in Philadelphia. Exhibition visitors may browse the artwork while enjoying free food, drinks, live music, and the chance to mingle with musicians of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Event Details

The exhibition event following the Philadelphia Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s “Linz” will take place at 8 p.m. in the Comcast Circle, Tier 1 of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
