Crivelli-Kovach Presents at the Annual Association of Teaching Prevention and Research (APTR) Conference

Dr. Andrea Crivelli-Kovach, professor of public health, presented “Integrating public health into a Community Medicine rotation in a dual degree Physician Assistant/MPH program” at the annual APTR meeting in Charleston, S.C, in March 2015. The meeting focused on integrating public health into the medical curriculum; highlighting new and innovation trends in teaching and learning.

Dr. Crivelli-Kovach also conducted a roundtable presentation and discussion titled “Managing dual degree programs with unique challenges: Best practices and future directions.” The  forum focused on the challenges encountered in dual degree programs, meeting accreditation criteria for both disciplines while maintaining the integrity of each separate degree.
