At Teacher Assembly, Faculty and Students Present on STEM, Building Classroom Community
Faculty and students in Arcadia’s School of Education presented at the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators (PAC-TE) 46th Teacher Education Assembly on Oct. 25 and 26 in Harrisburg.
Associate Professor of Education Dr. Jodi Bornstein, along with Alexandra Rinaldi ’18, Abigail Kaminsky ’18, and Caroleann Ortiz ’18, discussed meaningful teacher-education classroom environments in “Coming Full Circle: Secondary Teacher Candidates Building Community in the University Classroom.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Augusto Macalalag and Michelle Lai ’19, along with Joseph Johnson, assistant professor at Mercyhurst University, presented “STEM Education Course: Enhancing K-12 Teachers’ Cultural Awareness Through Reflections of Socioscientific Issues.”
