Women’s History Month Highlighted by Music and Professional Panel

Arcadia will host several events to honor and celebrate women throughout the month of March.

Thursday, March 1

6 to 8 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Rose & Mirror Rooms

All women of Arcadia are invited to share their many talents during a relaxing kick-off to Women’s History Month. Light refreshments will be served. Contact Institutional Diversity for more information.

Friday, March 2

Noon to 1 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Mirror Room

The concert will feature the “Strings Fantastique” quartet, with faculty musicians Valerie Levicoff on violin and Dan Kujala on cello and guest artists Lisa Lynch-Shumas on violin and Karol Mannherz on viola, performing works of women composers Dame Ethel Smyth and Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn. Thursday, March 22

4 to 6 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Mirror Room

The Panel of Asian Women Professionals will share stories and experiences from their respective occupations. Light refreshments will be served. Contact Institutional Diversity for more information.
