Dean of Graduate and Undergraduate studies Dr. Nancy Rosoff has received several honors this summer. Moving through school: The role of sociability in British and American school and college stories, a research paper that Dr. Rosoff wrote in collaboration with Stephanie Spencer, professor of the University of Winchester, will be presented at the University of Greenwich, London this June. Their essay highlights the potential for values established in fictional narratives of young friend groups to reinforce leadership and female citizenship in the wider world.

Dr. Rosoff also received the Loyalty Award from her alma mater, Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, which is presented to an alumna who has demonstrated exceptional loyalty to the alumnae association and college through consistent effort and involvement. Dr. Rosoff has been an active member of the alumnae association since 2007, managing the Class of 1978 website and social media pages and chairing the External Achievement Awards Committee for three years.
