Ryan’s Artwork Displayed in National Exhibitions

Abbey Ryan ’03, associate professor of Visual and Performing Art, is showcasing her artwork in nationally recognized exhibitions and juried shows across the country this summer.

Ryan’s painting “Hand-picked Apples Together Forever” is on display in the National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils by the Oil Painters of America at the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City, Mich., until September 2018, and will be featured online as part of the 2018 Spring International Juried Exhibition by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society until May 2019.

From Aug. 2 to Sept. 3, her solo exhibition ‘Abbey Ryan: Poetic Realism’ will be displayed at the Gleason Fine Art Center in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Throughout October, her work will be included in the 13th annual International Juried Exhibition hosted by the International Guild of Realism at the Sugarman-Peterson Gallery in Santa Fe, N.M.

Earlier this summer, Ryan was in the Best of America Small Painting Juried Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn.
